St Georges
We started off the week at St Georges Primary School with our LoveSchools initiative. This new initiative looks to bless local school staff and teachers to show our appreciation because they bring light to the lives of the children in our city. Each staff member and teacher received a small gift as a token of our appreciation for them.
A huge thank you to all school staff and teachers who do an amazing job looking after our children!

YMCA day
A group of 15 students from our Faith & Football Enterprise and Leadership Academy spent the day at our annual outdoor leadership day at the YMCA Fairthorne Manor.
This leadership day takes learning outside of the classroom and allows the students to exercise and put into practise all that they have learnt so far at the Academy. They split into two teams and took part in various challenges such as low ropes, an obstacle course and shelter building.  Throughout the day the students had to work as a team to get through the challenges, face their fears and step out of their comfort zones.

Naturally Supernatural
The Faith & Football team travelled up to Watford to attend the Naturally Supernatural Conference held by Soul Survivor Watford. The four day conference was all about growing in the knowledge and gifts of the Holy Spirit. Each day consisted of 3 sessions of worship, teaching and ministry.
The teaching covered a variety of topics, including ‘the gift of tongues’, ‘identity’, ‘healing’ and ‘how it works when the Lord uses you’. The conference hosted many speakers such as Mike Pilavachi and Andy Coft from Soul Survivor, Debby Wright from Vineyard, and Simon Holley and Wendy Mann from Kings Arms.
It was great to see over 400 people from different congregations across the globe gather together to learn and be in His presence.
