Faith & Football Role
Milton League Administrator and Helper
Why do you do it?
It is a privilege to be involved in this great charity that does so much good for the local community. I love football and enjoy working with, coaching, mentoring and encouraging children and young people in general.
Favourite Bible Verse?
Matthew 17 v 20
"I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."
Why Is It Your Favourite?
My favourite verses are those that refer to faith and moving mountains because I have seen my twin girls develop from tiny premature babies who could not breathe by themselves into tall, healthy, beautiful girls.
How did you become a Christian?
When my twins were born 10 weeks premature and in Intensive Care I had no hope. Prayer gave me hope and belief.
